MEET THE BARRE TENDERS!

Hi, I’m Katie Kitchin, and I’m a Barre Addict! A proud boy-mom of three, I decided to take the plunge and try barre as a way to get back into a fitness routine after having kiddos. Little did I know, barre would be a life-changing journey for me! I have had the privilege of making new friends, reconnecting with old pals, and even learning of a new family member all along the way! I truly believe in the mission of barre; women supporting women without comparison, without judgement, and with a lot of fun (and sweat!). If you come to my class, I promise lots of “fun activities” to burn that lower body, scorch that core, and work those arms! When I’m not at the barre, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mike, and three young sons: Grant, Clark, and Scott. You also may find me crafting, baking, antique shopping, or party-planning, some of my fave hobbies. I can’t wait to spend some time at the barre with you; together, we will sweat, shake, and SOAR!
Barre Beauties in Katie’s class go home with a stronger heart- she loves the cardio!

My name is Alison Zajdel and I am proud to be an instructor at Just Love Studios Barre! I grew up in Richmond and made my way back to town after graduating from DePauw University. I’m a mom of two awesome kids- Joel and Maggie- and am married to Kyle Zajdel who happens to be the best cook around. I worked in environmental education for 16 years before starting my own consulting business helping nonprofits navigate this crazy world. I love nature, my family, cooking and eating, and spending time in northern Indiana on the lakes. AND I love connecting with strong, amazing women in barre class whether it’s online or in person. I love this beautiful supportive community and encourage everyone to give it a try- you won’t be sorry.
Barre Beauties in Alison’s class can expect a lot of “classic barre”- thigh work, strength building, and always a plank at the end!

Hello! My name is Jess Sanford and I have been “barre-ing” for a little over two years! I was a Dance minor in college, so being at the barre has been like coming back to my happy place! My husband, Ted and I live in Liberty and I have two college-aged sons; Logan and Cameron. I am also a proud goldendoodle owner to, Baylor! My hobbies include reading and boating (really anything on the water). I have four sisters that I talk to nearly every day! I work as the Associate Dean of Wellness at Earlham College and am about to celebrate 20 years of employment there! One fun fact about me, is that I discovered during my time at Just Love Studios, that barre beauty, Katie Kitchin is in fact my cousin (what a small world)!
Barre Beauties in Jess’s class will love her focus on strength building- she’ll have you sweating, shaking, and soaring!

Hi, I’m Tamara Brinkman and I found barre about a year and a half ago (through Alison Zajdel’s mom, Mary Jo). I relocated to Centerville, from California, two and half years ago. I moved here with my boyfriend Chris who grew up in Henry County. Barre has brought so many beautiful women into my life and given me so much more than I had ever thought I could get from an exercise class. It’s not just a class, we’re like a family! I have three dogs, 8 chickens (they all have names) and I work full time for United Way in Richmond. Some of my hobbies are cooking/baking, tennis or pickle ball or barre! I hope you’ll meet me at the “barre”!
Barre Beauties in Tamara’s class will enjoy lots of time at the mat- she’s our core queen!
